JOURNALIST | FILMMAKER | EXPEDITION LEADER

Though my birth certificate says I was born in Pennsylvania, it's a damn lie. I was born hiking the Appalachian Trail. That 2,000 mile journey not only sparked a love for nature, it inspired a passion for capturing stories connected to it. My name's Andy Laub. I'm an award-winning documentary filmmaker, bonafide dirtbag journalist, and creative trailblazer who’s work has been featured on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC World, Amazon Prime, and Hulu. Over the last ten years, I’ve hiked and filmed over 5,000 miles of American backcountry, and won several awards across numerous film festivals in the process.

Simply put, I live to capture and share real stories about humans, nature and the space they meet.
